Month of literature - td-nets Tour d’Horizon and Publication-analysis
The yearly literature recommendations by the community, the Tour d'Horizon, and our literature analysis have been published.
The long awaited Tour d’Horizon of literature 2025 has been published. This year over 80 publications are recommended and classified into 5 categories wit short annotations from the contributors. Browse the 2025 harvest of literature recommendations from the international ITD community!
All “Tour d’Horizon of Literature” issues can be found here. Warm thanks to all contributors for sharing their recommendations and insights and for making this Tour d’Horizon a living resource from and for the ITD community.
Also the td-net contucted the yearly publication-analysis, showing that the yearly number of publications in the transdisciplinary field remain stable, why interdisciplinary publications increased again. This strenghens us in our believe, that collaborative research from multiple perspectives is a growing need in a complex world like ours.
The analysis also provides insights by country and research area. In 2025, environmental sciences one more showed as the most prominent topic in transdisciplinary literature, while the USA remains as the country where most publications originate from.

A look back at SSH Energy 2026 and the special session co-hosted by the td-net
td-net co-hosted a special session at the 6th Swiss Social Sciences and Humanities Energy Research Workshop (SSH Energy 2026), which took place in mid-June and adresses various actors from inter- and transdisciplinary fields.

Zweite Durchführung des CAS Citizen Science und Public Engagement, erneut mit Beteiligung des td-net
Diesen Herbst bietet Citizen Science Zürich zum zweiten Mal den CAS Citizen Science und Public Engagement an. Die berufsbegleitende und praxisorientierte Weiterbildung ist zusammengesetzt aus fünf Basis- und zwei wählbaren Spezialisierungsmodulen, von denen eines unter der Beteiligung stattfinden wird.

Call for Speakers: Teaching Tools for Bridging Science and Societal Partners
